Alpha Test Information
We are making great strides with our production of Catpanion, and are pushing closer and closer to our initial release stage! We still have a little bit to do before we can start our very first testing phase; but we wanted to give you guys an update an idea on what to expect!

We want to start off with a small alpha test, to have the chance to do some basic testing and debugging. For the first stage of Catpanion going public we have decided to form a very small testing group consisting of all our early supporters & any close friends you want to get interested! We are starting with 20 steam release keys available to sign up for, but if we have a bigger initial interest we can request up to 30 more! (50 total)

With the testing we hope to get lots of feedback from our testers! Things that may be broken, things that are in a good state, suggestions or comments, we want it all! So signing up for this test, we hope you will contribute your time and effort to helping us make a greater product!

 

Focused Features Of This Test
- 4 different cat variants (White, Black, Tabby, Calico)
- Several unique personalities and behaviours
- A story based adoption (random cat features based on story interactions)
- Our "Angel Cat" adoption system (you pick the cat's features)
- And our Catphone menu system

There will be other features, but these are the main focus of this particular testing phase.

 

When?
Soon™. We are aiming for late spring, but we can't promise a date till we reach the ending of the prep stage.

 

How will I know if I've been accepted?
In order to receive your key, you must stay in this discord server, If you leave the server and we cannot contact you; your access will be granted to the next person in line. 

How things will work:
- If you are accepted into our first Alpha Test, we will use the Discord ID provided to grant access to a new category called "Alpha Test #1"
- 1 week prior to the testing release date, we will make an announcement in that category to do steam key claiming
- Each tester will have their own unique and private channel in which we will attempt to reach you
- Once the tester has responded to our contact, we will give you your unique key!
- If you do not respond within the allotted time frame, your key will be passed to another applicant

Please note the following:
- We will ask for your Discord ID in the registration, this is to properly distribute keys. If your Discord ID is changed at any point, we will ask for your email used in the signup to verify your application.
- Our game will only work on Windows based systems. If you are not on windows, please do not sign up.
