First and foremost, we here on the Catpanion team want to thank you for your continuous support in our project! We really appreciate you all standing with us patiently while we continue to develop! We haven't forgotten about you and are working hard every day to bring our passion to you all 
 

As part of our group's standards; we want to always be communicative with you all and part of that is keeping you informed on why we our alpha is taking a bit longer to start than anticipated -- and to put it simply... life has been complicated for all 3 members of our team 
 

We have been making progress; but our initial plans have to be pushed back slightly due to an unexpected burst of life changes and adjustments. At this time, we are delayed by approximately 1 month. We are still pushing as hard as we can to get things ready, but we also do not want to send Catpanion into the public before its ready for some proper testing. We simply don't want to shortcut what is meant to be an experience created with passion  
 

A Small Teaser
Despite the delays, we wanted to give you a teaser on some of the things that we are currently working on!

In the past, we have mentioned that there is 3 NPCs who reside within the story elements of Catpanion, and today you'll get see a preview of them! We originally planned and created static versions of these 3 NPCs -- but we ended up doing a total rework of their designs to allow for some unique animations!

Delayed Features
Multi display compatibility:

• This is a possibility from our testing, but will not be an easy feature to implement and requires a lot of time to create correctly

 

Launching game on a computer's start up (off by default):

• This can be accomplished by the user in the mean time! We will have an explanation on our website or in FAQ on discord!

Playtest Signup Reminder
As a casual reminder, we do have an alpha testing form set up for those who want to partake in the first release!
